Client-centred, enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapist working mental health. Currently working as a locum in the Bromley Older Adults Community Mental Health Team. Previous experience in acute and complex care mental health rehabilitation at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, Beckenham. I am a trained pre-registration Practice Educator for London South Bank University and supported my first student in January of 2023 during their third, 9-week placement. Experienced in Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) based assessments and outcome measures, including the Model of Human Occupation Screening Tool (MoHOST). Previous experience in completing audits and research. Passionate about service development and service user involvement. Prior to qualifying, I gained over four years’ experience as a mental health care assistant for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust within Acute, PICU, CAMHS, A&E Liaison, and Community Eating Disorder settings. I feel this range of experience has enabled me to become a more versatile and well-rounded mental health professional, and allowed me to consolidate core clinical skills including risk management and care planning. During this time, I was fortunate to be mentored by many experienced clinicians who were a source of inspiration and shaped me into the therapist and person I am today.
