I attended Radford University College of Graduate Studies and Research and hold a master's of science in Counseling and Human Development. My experience comes from working with adults and adolescents in varying walks of life. I have worked primarily with active duty service members and their family members. I strive to provide an environment free of judgment that honors race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, and religion. My clients deal with PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and attachment or codependency issues.I believe that counseling is a collaborative experience between the client and counselor. I use a variety of evidence-based practices to serve clients in a manner fitting to their needs. My practice centers in providing a safe and judgment-free environment to promote self-reflection and awareness. I am EMDR trained and am a Nationally Certified Counselor.Reaching out for counseling is a big step in starting your mental health journey!
