Biography
For over thirty years I have worked to meet the needs of children, adolescents and their families throughout Connecticut. Last year, I became the Director of Psychology at Clifford Beers, a community-based mental health organization that has remained committed to serving the community through innovative and client-centered programs for over 100 years. Our outpatient programs provide services to children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety and depression; experiencing behavioral difficulties at home or in school; lacking effective social or coping skills; or have experienced trauma. Within the context of an integrated-health care setting, we are also working with developmentally disabled individuals across the lifespan, and providing assessment and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Close collaboration within the agency allows for a holistic approach, with psychiatry, early childhood, Care Coordination, community support, Mobile Crisis, and school-based services available.
