I am currently working as an Associate Specialist Psychiatrist in general adult rehabilitation. I am a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and section 12 approved. I have completed Core Psychiatry Training in the East Midlands (2018-2021). I have had exposure to a wide variety of clinical settings including General Adult (both inpatient and outpatient), Older Adult psychiatry, Child and Adolescent psychiatry (CAMHS), Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT), Forensic psychiatry and Substance Misuse psychiatry. I have worked in Liaison Psychiatry during oncall shifts covering both General Adult and CAMHS population. I have also worked as a Specialty doctor in Old Age psychiatry including both inpatient and outpatient setting. During my Core psychiatry training, I have received basic training for Systemic Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and I have a special interest in Medical psychotherapy. I have received excellent moultisource feedback regarding my professionalism, team working skills and ability to complete thorough psychiatric assessments. I am able to independently manage complex cases with severe and enduring mental illness, including pharmacological and psychosocial management. I have received excellent feedback for the management of physical health problems on the wards and the holistic approach that I follow. My experience and working knowledge of general medicine and geriatrics have helped me manage patients holistically, and it has been mentioned as a significant strength in my multisource feedback.
