Currently working both independently and in an Autism Assessment team. I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2011 and have since lead the Occupational Therapy provision in two NHS inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and more recently, work as an Advanced Occupational Therapist in a specialist community neurodevelopmental service. I have a passion for working with and celebrating neurodiversity. I work to a person-centred and strength-based thinking approach, which aims to feel meaningful to the families I work with. My current role for the Autism team involves shaping the diagnostic pathway and processes, including offering training and consultation to families and colleagues. Along with postgraduate training in sensory integration, I have completed training in diagnostic assessment for autism and dyspraxia. As an independent practitioner, I deliver sensory integration assessment and treatment for children, young people and adults. I also offer training and consultation for young people, their families, and schools. I work with a range of clients in the community, as well as local authorities, education and specialist provisions. RCOT member HCPC registered
