A neuro diverse perspective Disrupting and deconstructing perceived norms through various mediums as a direclty indirect way to explore, illuminate and illustrate the inner world juxtasposed with the external landscapes, both on the mico/personal level and macro/cultural. Issues around "otherness" mental health, inclusion/exclusion, experience of selfhood, disbaility, age, feminism and what is deemed accpetable or not, worth of value or that which is discarded. What we hide, whether in our hidden selves, or when alone or unobserved by others. Literally and metaphorically around the back of the glittering facades and neon vistas in the alleys, bins, and skips. My boundary and genre free approach enables a new way of opening up this in a meaningful manner and does create space for reflection, intrigue, joy and expansion. The narratives we create, cling to, collude with (often without conscious awareness) as individuals and collectively are in need of re-examination. These underlying old programmes are splitting and the seams, are slow and outdated. Truths are conflated with opinions, inclusion can appear to be based on exclusion and may laspse into dogma as rigid and unbending as that it claims to oppose. Extremes have an uncanny way of reflecting each other, yet remaining blind to their twinship. This is Act 2 of my life - a process from an extended period of trauma and loss. Less linear and more of a conscious intentional spiral upwards and outwards.
