Kristina is Associate Professor in Pharmacy Practice at University of Bradford and a programme lead for the Foundation Training Consortium. The Foundation Training Consortium is a partnership between University of Bradford, Imaan Healthcare, and Buttercups Training to deliver supplementary training to hospital trainee pharmacists in the North of England. She is also Principal Pharmacist (Education & Training) at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust where she leads the pharmacy education and training team. In 2022, she has been recognised by the Pharmaceutical Journal as 'Women to Watch 2022' for her work in implementing research activity and work on race equality in workplace. Alongside her leadership and educational activities, she continues delivering patient-centred care and has gained experience in various sectors of hospital pharmacy including aseptic, elderly, cardiology, renal, surgery, respiratory, general medicine. Her research focuses on implementation of new medicines and services in healthcare, medicine optimisation, and pharmacy education. Kristina is also driving sustainable healthcare agenda in both her roles and is a member of Pharmacy Declares. Outside work, Kristina enjoys a good book, travel, and walks or hikes in the nature.
