I work as a Neurology Specialist Pharmacist providing medicines management advice to the Community Neurology Team within The Dudley Group Foundation Trust and also to Dudley CCG and to other medical and healthcare professions. I run weekly community clinics and also join consultants for the secondary care clinics. As an independent prescriber, I provide medicines management leadership for the Dudley community. I also provide educational sessions for patients, carers, specialist registrars, medical, pharmacy and nursing students in addition to local universities. I previously lectured to medical, dental and pharmacy students at Birmingham and Aston universities and I have a background in clinical research whilst studying for my PhD. In my spare time I work as an independent Pharmaceutical Consultant. I have recently formed and now chair the Parkinson's Disease Specialist Pharmacy Network (PDSPN) which is a national network designed to up skill the Pharmacy profession in the management Parkinson's disease. The PDSPN was awarded a UK Parkinson's Excellence Network 2021 award in the Sharing Learning and Education category.
