I am an experienced pharmacist, skilled in patient counselling, medicines reconciliation and optimisation. I have held locum pharmacist positions in both the primary and secondary care settings since completing pre-registration training and a subsequent junior pharmacist role with the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2012. I am currently on a secondment from my role as Lead Pharmacist with a busy outpatient pharmacy; working as a PCN clinical pharmacist for a group of GP practices within the local GP Federation. A strong healthcare services professional, I have previously completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused on the development of a teaching and learning programme of study for practical prescribing with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School. I further developed my interest in education working as a medical mentoring pharmacist with Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. My next professional goal is to obtain an independent prescribing qualification.
