Donald Sammut is a Plastic Surgeon by training, specialising exclusively in Hand Surgery. He divides his practice between Bath and London. He has special interest in the management of nerve surgery, surgery for arthritis, malformations, reconstruction after trauma and in the reanimation surgery of paralysed hands. He is a lecturer in Anatomy and runs regular courses for senior surgeons in Hand Surgery. He also runs a surgical programme in Nepal, travelling there annually, leading a team, to operate on leprosy paralysed hands and to teach local surgeons. He is a recognised illustrator and artist both of medical and non-medical work. Close work and cooperation with specialist Hand Therapists in Bath, Bristol. Maidenhead, London.
