After training at top universities in Europe and the US (e.g. Oxford, UPenn) Dominik Fischer is appointed Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Oxford and works as Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Oxford Eye Hospital. He also is appointed Professor at the University of Tübingen and Visiting Professor at the University of Lausanne. He is founding Director of Merton Medical Ltd and Director of Fischer Consulting Limited. Professor Fischer's research evolves around blinding disorders of the visual system and translational research towards treatment options. He runs his own research lab and works as independent consultant for >20 companies (biotech, pharma, and legal).
