Qualified, GPhC registered, pharmacist and a current PhD student within the Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies Centre for Doctoral Training at UCL School of Pharmacy, funded by the EPSRC and SFI. My research focuses on improving the palatability of medicines through cocrystal engineering. This solid state chemistry project involves work with many flavoring agents and design of studies to assess the odour and the taste of the samples made in the laboratory. My four years of undergraduate study, the pre-registration year and my past work experiences constructed my clinical knowledge and further developed my social and interpersonal skills as a healthcare professional within different health settings. For the past few years I have applied these skills in my new role as a MPharm OSCE assessor and post graduate teaching assistant.
