I am the professional lead occupational therapist and head of vocational recovery services for the community for West London NHS Trust, responsible for overseeing the provision of occupational therapy for people over the age of 18 in the community in the Trust. I also manage the recovery college, vocational services and have led the development of a peer support work service. I have also led the development and recruitment of the new QI team on an interim basis. Prior to my current posts I was a senior lecturer in occupational therapy at London South Bank University, with responsibility for managing the fieldwork placements for the BSc programme, along with being module leader for a school wide interprofessional module,quality improvement, change management and leadership. I was also enterprise champion for the school of health and social care, helping LSBU attain the THE's award for Entrepreneurial University of the Year in 2016. Prior to this I gained wide experience as an OT in mental health, working in forensic health care, eating disorders and acute settings as well as working with clients with borderline personality disorder. I have published in Forensic Music Therapy (JKP), OT in mental health and OT News as well as presenting at national conferences in OT, Music Therapy, Recovery and Social Inclusion and forensic OT.
