I am an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Principal Pharmacy Technician with a demonstrated history of working in hospital pharmacy, and currently specialising in Homecare Medicines Service. I began my pharmacy career in 2005 as an Assistant Technical Officer at Northwick Park Hospital. I had the opportunity to undertake the NVQ Level 3 & BTEC in 2006 and qualified as a registered Rotational Pharmacy Technician in 2008. I extended my core skills by gaining experience within different sections of the Pharmacy, such as Dispensary, Procurement and Drug Distribution as well as undertaking the ACT course with LPET. In January 2010, I secured the position of Senior Pharmacy Technician – Homecare & Patient Services then excelled to Principal Pharmacy Technician - Homecare in September 2022, specialising in various therapy areas, such as HIV, Biologics, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Growth Hormone. The transition was very refreshing yet challenging, providing a service from a different perspective and applying the Trust HEART values in my day to day job. This was a completely new role which I believe I have embraced and adapted to, becoming an asset and a crucial member to the department. To further develop my homecare knowledge, I participate in the quarterly regional London Network Homecare meetings and internal strategic homecare meetings, which provides continuous updates about the national homecare services. I am an honest, reliable, hard-working individual with excellent time management skills and have the ability to work without supervision. I contribute and work well as part of a team and can also use my own initiative. I am a well organised, motivated and determined person who is open to new ideas. I have up-to-date IT and financial management experience as well as strong ability to deal with figures and can adapt easily to many situations. I am an excellent communicator and am confident in dealing with people at all levels. I am a passionate worker, who welcomes the opportunity to share ideas. I am committed and determined to learn new skills and progress within a challenging environment. I also have the knowledge of understanding and speaking Gujarati and Hindi.
