As a Correctional Client Assistant at ATTIC Correctional Services, Inc., I provide support and guidance to individuals who are transitioning from incarceration to the community. I work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement case plans, monitor progress, and coordinate services. I also facilitate training and workshops on topics such as life skills, mental health, and substance abuse prevention. Prior to joining ATTIC, I gained valuable experience in the behavioral health field as a Behavioral Health Technician at WisHope Recovery Center and a Youth and Family Specialist at Walker's Point Youth & Family Center. In these roles, I assisted clients with various needs, such as crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and education. I also participated in community outreach and awareness activities, such as organizing events and campaigns on various issues affecting youth and families. Through my education and work experience, I have developed core competencies in behavioral health, training, strategy, and communication. My goal is to continue to learn and grow in this field, and to pursue further education in law and social justice.
