Dr. Meese graduated with Honors from St. Louis University Medical School in 1979. He completed residencies in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Minnesota in 1986. He has been practicing Colon and Rectal Surgery in the Daytona Beach area for more than 20 years. He has performed over 21,000 colonoscopies and 8,000 surgical procedures in this community, with high levels of quality and safety. Dr. Meese is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He is board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery. Dr. Meese has performed research and is published in his field. He has served our community as Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Florida Hospital Ormond beach and as Chief of Staff at Humana Hospital, Daytona Beach.
