My expertise is the treatment and management of mental illness, both functional (mood disorders, psychoses, neuroses, personality disorders) and organic (cognitive disorders such as Mild Cognitive Impairment and Dementias of various aetiologies). In my years as a psychiatrist, I have also developed an expertise in the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS), the protection of vulnerable adults, capacity assessments and the writing of medico-legal reports.
