Cheyenne joined Waukesha County in July 2024 as their new Risk/Purchasing Manager. Cheyenne serves as the head of the Risk/Purchasing Division, while managing eight full-time Risk/Purchasing positions. Prior to joining Waukesha County, Cheyenne worked for WMMIC as a Senior Liability Claim Representative, where she served 20 local Wisconsin Municipalities. Prior to joining WMMIC, Cheyenne worked for CVMIC as a Safety & Risk Management Specialist. Her responsibilities included serving 14 local Wisconsin Municipalities in developing, reviewing and modifying programs, as well as various policies and procedures. Cheyenne also planned, developed and presented a variety of training programs and topics. Prior to joining CVMIC, she was the Loss Control Manager at Milwaukee County. During her time with Milwaukee County, Cheyenne was responsible for developing and administering Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Contractual Risk Transfer and Safety Programs designed to minimize losses to the County. She was also responsible for informing and assisting County departments in complying with Safety and Claims Standards and Statutes, while managing four full-time Safety positions (DOT, Parks, Airport and Zoo). Cheyenne continuously ensures a safe and compliant environment for employees, the public, members, and clients. Cheyenne also has Dual Master’s Degrees in both Public Administration and Urban Planning.
