Dr. Charles L. Vogel is a top doctor in Plantation FL. Trained at Princeton, Yale, Emory, and the U.S. National Cancer Institute, he is considered a national and international key opinion leader in breast cancer treatment and clinical research. After serving with the NCI as an advisor at the Uganda (East Africa) Cancer Institute for 4 years he started the first Oncology unit at Grady Memorial Hospital (Emory Univ) in 1974. In 2010, he returned to the Sylvester Cancer Center of the Univ. of Miami until January 2021 when he joined the Miami Cancer Institute of Baptist Health South in Plantation Florida. His first book "Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer: You are not a statistic" will be published in 2022.
