About Catherine SmithI have been a Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy since 2013. I completed my training in Medical Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic, London where I also undertook the M1 training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I have considerable experience in assessing and treating adult patients with a range of complex psychological difficulties. I also have substantial experience working therapeutically with Doctors experiencing psychological difficulties through my work within the DocHealth and Mednet clinical services which offer / offered psychotherapeutic work and understanding to Doctors who find themselves in difficulty personally and / or professionally.
