Prior to moving to the UAE, Dr. Catherine Makura worked as a consultant anaesthetist in the UK after being awarded a CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Anaesthesia . She is a Fellow of the UK Royal College of Anesthetists (FRCA). She has practised in the UAE since 2016 and has more than 17 years of Anaesthesia experience.She obtained her MBChB and Diploma in Anaesthetics from the University of Zimbabwe Medical School prior to moving to the UK in 2001.Dr Catherine has experience in the provision of anaesthesia for a broad range of surgeries in the adult and paediatric population including bariatric surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, trauma and orthopaedics, urology, colorectal and upper GI, ENT and maxillofacial surgery.
