I am passionate about working alongside people to improve ourselves and our services for people. I am my most alive when I am working with individuals or groups, asking curious questions and seeking to enable them to find their own solutions. As a manager and leader, I love supporting talented individuals to grow in their roles and to seek new opportunities for the service and their own fulfilment. I bring my background as a Pharmacist for over 25 years, including leadership of the Critical Care Pharmacy team during the COVID pandemic, to the improvement work I am part of with different professional groups and multi-disciplinary teams. I am an advocate for the inclusion of all, especially people who receive services as part of NHS improvement work, My particular interests are in creating compassionate and psychologically safe learning and team environments so that people feel free to speak up and thus meet the potential of individuals and the team. I am a Leeds Improvement Method Accredited Lean Leader, Advanced Lean Leader, Internal Coach and Freedom to Speak Up Champion
