During my time as a student at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and King’s College, London I developed a deep passion for teaching in urban schools. My pedagogy has developed into a social reconstruction thinker with a desire to teach and evoke social justice in all aspects of the history curriculum. I am especially compelled to teach students to be active thinkers and reflectors about both themselves and their role in the greater society.
