I am a motivated pharmacist with over 10 years experience in community, management, hospitals and the government sector in Malaysia and a qualified pharmacist in the UK. As an organised and dedicated team leader who managed a pharmacy in a highly challenging environment, I strived to provide sympathetic and individualised attention and advice to those that were unwell and vulnerable. Having a vast experience in different sectors moulded me into a person who eagerly accepts challenges, with the ability to work under pressure without direct supervision. I am passionate about the wellbeing of people and actively organised and promoted the use of free healthcare talks and events at pharmacies, including various health checks to educate and promote everyday health awareness issues. Seeing how the patients benefit from this gives me a sense of satisfaction, supplying me with drive and motivation. I enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide person-centred care to patients. Being able to continuously provide safe, clinical effective, and cost effective use of medicines while optimising medicine regimens based on a patient's expectation are always my biggest priority as a healthcare provider.
