Bitini Pannell is a licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas with a passion for helping people overcome their traumas, depression, anxiety stress and mental health challenges. With over four years of experience in the field, Bitini is well-equipped to provide compassionate and effective care to those in need. Bitini earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the New York State University at Buffalo and went on to complete her Master's degree in Counseling from Medaille University in New York . Throughout her academic career, Bitini gained a deep understanding of trauma and the ways in which it can impact a person's mental and emotional wellbeing. She was particularly drawn to the field of somatic therapy, which focuses on the body's physical response to trauma and stress. After completing her education, Bitini began working as a counselor in a community mental health center, where she provided therapy to individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. During this time, Bitini honed her skills in trauma therapy and somatic therapy, working closely with clients experiencing suicidaility, mood disorders, personality disorders and neurodivergence. In her private practice, Bitini specializes in trauma therapy and somatic therapy, utilizing a holistic approach to treatment that takes into account both the mind and body. She works with clients who have experienced a variety of traumas, including childhood abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Bitini understands that each client's experience is unique, and she tailors her approach to meet their individual needs.
