Professor Bijayendra Singh is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon currently based at the private practices KIMS Hospital Limited, Spire Alexandra Hospital and Sevenoaks Medical Centre. His current NHS post is Medway Foundation NHS Trust. His areas of specialism are hand and wrist and shoulder and elbow. His areas of interest include Elbow surgery; Shoulder surgery; Wrist surgery; Arthroplasty; Hand surgery; Knee surgery; Trauma; Arthritis, Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty; Sports Injuries: Football injuries; Rugby injuries and Cycling injuries.Professor Singh qualified in Medicine from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, India in 1992. He completed a Masters in 1995. He conducted Higher Specialist Training in South East Thames under leading Upper Limb surgeons. In 2000 he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow (Trauma and Orthopaedic) in 2006. In 2008 he completed a PG Diploma Brighton and Sussex Medical School 2008.In addition, Professor Singh is interested in research regarding Rotator Cuff Problems, Clavicle Fracture, Hip Fractures and Scaphoid Fracture, he has over 100 publications in various journals. He has received many awards including the Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Indian Award, May 2014. He also offers courses to GPs regarding his areas of specialism.
