I have been a qualified nurse for 38 years, I trained at Frenchay school of Nursing in Bristol, UK . During my career I have worked as a Dialysis Nurse for Baxter healthcare, Interventional radiology Nurse, Surgical Admissions Nurse and in a General outpatient department, I was a senior band 6 Infection Prevention and Control Nurse for 13 years in a busy acute trust. I have experience in outbreak management, BSI’s post infection reviews etc. I am currently the IPC Lead nurse for 2 hospitals in the South West .
