Beth is a system thinker and advocate for a digitally connected health care system. As an active practicing Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Beth is a passionate innovator in her practice, using design thinking to leverage the right technology to improve team based care, tackle unmet patient needs and address gaps in care delivery. Outside of her day to day work, Beth helped launch an interprofessional working group to enhance women’s care services. Her leadership helped with a successful launch of the Women’s Health Review Conference, at McMaster University Continuing Education program, bringing together clinicians from across Canada. This included creating local partnerships and stimulated new funding to further the work of social organizations that address the unmet needs of women in the Hamilton community. Beth is a big coffee snob, and she is always interested in coffee chats with diverse creative system thinkers about healthcare systems. She'd love to chat with you about ways to improve the experience of those accessing health care and learn ways to advocate for those that have unmet needs.
