Dr. Amini is the founder at CitiDent, where a team of general practitioners and specialists in periodontics and orthodontics work together in a completely renovated modern facility. Dr. Amini currently practices three days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Dentistry and an Instructor at University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He voluntarily dedicates his time to train the next talented generation of dentists in the bay area. Dr. Amini is very active in the dental community and holds numerous memberships and certificates in local, national, and international dental organizations, including a Fellowship status at the Academy of General Dentists. Currently, less than 7% of general dentists in the U.S. hold this prestigious status. Dr. Amini is a clinical evaluator for several dental manufacturers and a Subject Expert at the Dental Board of California. He is also a Board member at the Community Dental Health Committee in the San Francisco Dental Society. His passion in modern dentistry has allowed him to utilize the latest in science and technology to positively impact and change the experience for the patients. He is an avid scuba diver and has explored the deep waters in many corners of the globe. He also holds a patent in scuba diving device for diver's safety.
