Since qualifying in 2002 I have had extensive experience in dispensary, aseptics, procurement, distribution and medicine management roles. My pharmacy career began when I was 16 as a ATO in Tesco pharmacy as a Saturday Job, then after a year break at 19 I got my first NHS job at Mayday Hospital (Croydon University). Here is where I trained and qualified to become a pharmacy technician. I love my job, patient care and support is my motivation each day. Knowing that I can contribute to an individual's quality of life, no matter how small it may seem, is gratification in itself. I'm very passionate about healthcare on a global.scale, especially for those who dont have the privileges.of.nhs care and or who struggle to manage in everyday life with temporary or long term illnesses because they have no support network. I strive to push excellence in all aspects of my profession to deliver an outcome which not only benefits the patient first and foremost but improves the quality of care that the patient receives.
