Dr. Barbara Entsuah is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with a Master’s in Community Nutrition. She currently practices in Clermont FL. Dr. Entsuah specializes in comprehensive health care for people of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, family medicine doctors also put focus on preventative care with routine checkups, tests and personalized coaching on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Entsuah possesses immense general knowledge on maintaining health and today, family medicine practitioners provide more care for the underserved and rural populations than any other medical specialty. In her spare time she is Vice President of a Non Profit Organization (NGO)which serving the people of Ghana and Florida through free medical clinics, community and sexual health education and Breast and Cervical Cancer screening. Her NGO operates a free kindergarten through Junior High school in the village of Boate in the Eastern region of Ghana. She recently Initiated a yearly Women’s Health Fair in Accra Ghana in conjunction with other Health Partners in Ghana. Physical, mental and spiritual health are themes of the fair. Women are screened for Breast and Cervical cancer, Blood sugar and blood Pressure and other indices. She is a regular author of health articles for newspapers and social media platforms, makes regular health presentations on Zoom, and Health Discussions on Radio/TV. She has authored four books; the latest “A Woman’s Guide to Her Body and Total Health” released in 2021, empowers women to take charge of their health. Others are on Sexual Abuse prevention and safety of children in the home, school and neighborhood.
