Mr Mahmood completed his medical studies at the University of Southampton in 1995. He proceeded to be trained on basic surgery in Southampton and Colchester. He had his Higher Surgical Training in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore Training Scheme. He was given subspecialty training in Spinal Surgery at Stanmore and had Fellowships at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Oxford University Hospitals. He was an Anatomy Demonstrator at the University of Cambridge. In 2014, he became a Consultant Spinal Orthopaedic Surgeon at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. He currently involves in exclusive NHS and private practices in Spinal Surgery. He is into every aspect of spinal surgery that includes degenerative, deformity, tumour, trauma as well as infection from cervical, thoracic to the lumbosacral spine.
