I have over 17 years of working in pharmacy. I have taken on many responsibilities in my career and also trained as an Independent Prescriber at Bath University in 2012. I have significant experience in managing staff and been responsible for their training and development. I have also developed a wide array of clinical skills and undertaken prescribing clinics at a large medical practice. I have responsibility for purchasing medications from different wholesalers, setting budgets, managing day to day queries of both a clinical and non-clinical nature, organising staff rota's and annual leave, risk management. I have also developed may NHS and private services within community pharmacy to drive income and generate profit. I would say that three strong qualities that I possess are a very strong work ethic, communication with my peers/public and being able to anticipate problems before they occur.
