I am a passionate, talented, and technically-proficient writer. I can use words to say anything. I blogged about local nature sightings and wrote a monthly column for the local paper. Fuelled by an increased interest in music, I freelanced for Gigsoup before interning at Born Music, gaining office experience and skills related to WordPress, SEO, and social media. At Oxford, I was music editor for 'the Cherwell' student newspaper, gaining experience using InDesign and working alongside other editors. I also wrote and performed poetry, had a short story published in 'the Isis' magazine (2018), and had my play performed at Oxford’s New Writing Festival (2019). I subsequently worked with the Online Stage to convert it into an audiobook (now available on Audible), and taught myself the basics of screenwriting to adapt it for submission to BBC Writer’s Room. More recently, I gained copywriting experience, working on the rebranding of several websites in the marketing department of nGAGE Specialist Recruitment. I've chatted Chaucer to tutors, performed poems in pubs, and interviewed everyone from CEOs in glass towers to bands in basements. I can do it all and I let my words do the talking. I'm Mr Write.
