Hi there, I'm Arras! Hello, my name is Arras Khaledi, I have an LPC in Texas. I work collaboratively with my clients and build a working familiarity or rapport to then start working through your primary concerns together. I do my best to provide an insightful, supportive environment where we can problem-solve your thoughts and feelings as clinically and warmly as possible. My approach My primary therapy modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, and existential therapy. My focus I work primarily with clients regarding addictions, relationship concerns, trauma, and anxiety. I work with clients with all types of presenting issues and feel as if our collaborative work together will provide a greater understanding of whether our rapport is strong which is the best indicator of if the therapy is effective. My communication style I am excited to talk to you and learn more about your journey for self-improvement! I provide a non-judgmental, relaxed, collaborative environment where you and I talk more in-depth about specific issues you'd like to process more thoroughly. My journey to mental healthcare I have a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Ohio University, a master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a bachelor of science degree in psychology from North Carolina State University. My goals for you Our initial session is based on setting your goals for therapy. This is an important step in the therapy process as it best guides our work together to learn what goals we can collaborate to work towards together. Once we have identified the goals for therapy, I structure our session communications based on these goals.
