I qualified from Guy's Hospital London and undertook my dermatology training at Brighton and the St John's Institute of dermatology in London. I was appointed as Consultant Dermatologist to Worthing and Southlands Hospitals (now Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) in 1999. My clinical interests include skin cancer, skin surgery, photodynamic therapy and all aspects of general dermatology. My research interests include mechanisms of photocarcinogenesis which formed the basis of my MD thesis in 2001. I was the skin cancer lead for Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust between 2016 and 2019.
