I am Consultant Ophthalmologist at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust and a founding partner in the laser vision correction practice Laser Vision Eye Centre. I have a subspecialty expertise in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. I also practise at the Wessex Nuffield, Guildford Nuffield and Southampton Spire hospitals. Treatments I provide include cataract/refractive lens exchange (with monofocal, multifocal or toric lenses), laser vision correction (LASIK, SMILE, LASEK/ASA), PRESBYOND for presbyopia, collagen cross-linking for keratoconus, cross-linking combined with laser correction (ATHENS protocol) and INTACS for keratoconus. In the NHS, my practice is focused on refractive or complex cataract surgery, treatment of keratoconus and corneal transplantation surgery including endothelial keratoplasty for Fuchs endothelial dystrophy and anterior lamellar keratoplasty for keratoconus.
