I am a compassionate, motivated, enthusiastic, and driven specialist nurse with over 20 years of experience in various healthcare settings. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, I provide expert care and support for patients with acute and chronic pain. My core competencies include patient assessment, education, advocacy, research, and leadership. I have extensive skills and knowledge in pain management, medical-surgical nursing, critical care, nursing management, and post-anesthesia care, which I acquired from my previous roles. My mission is to improve the quality of life and outcomes of patients with pain and to empower and mentor other nurses in delivering compassionate and evidence-based care. I am passionate about patient safety, staff, and patient education. My experience of setting up the pain service of a newly opened hospital inspired me to study project management, and I would like to be part of a team that values safe care, compassion, excellence, innovation, and collaboration in pain management and beyond.
