I'm a dedicated community pharmacist seeking a transition into the pharmaceutical industry. I qualified as a pharmacist in September 2021. Since then, I have worked across two independent pharmacies and have also managed one of the branches for the last year. I manage a team of six whilst also running various services within the pharmacy. I set up and led a travel clinic after covid, and have implemented new services based on the needs of the community. During one of the toughest periods in community pharmacy with medication shortages and price increases, I have been able to maintain profit margins whilst also ensuring the patients’ health needs are met. I am looking to leverage my pharmaceutical knowledge and lab based experience, both during my study abroad period in Barcelona and at University at Kings, to move into a pharmaceutical industry role due to its challenging and continually evolving nature.
