I have a wide range of experience in assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders. My areas of interest include phenomenology, neurodevelopmental disorders and psychopharmacology. I have a keen interest in Medical Education and actively involved in educational scholarship. I am passionate about leadership development in trainees and physicians. I believe innovation in delivery of Medical Education can be a catalyst to promote quality improvement and achieve high quality clinical care. Simulation models in the learning environment is one such example. My academic interest are centred around the topics mentioned above. I believe that a good clinician is one who is able to nurture and foster further growth of clinical knowledge and expertise to the highest level. I have been involved in various undergraduate and post-graduate lead roles and supported both trainees and trainers in that role. Use of health informatics in influencing positive clinical outcomes and health economics is another area of interest. This includes the role of health technology in integration of care pathways and linkage to positive outcomes.
