She was accepted in the Family Medicine Residency program at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, and was one of the Chief Residents in her class. After which, she completed her Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She also worked as an Urgent Care Physician while in the said Fellowship program, in order to maintain her knowledge and experience in Primary Care. Dr. Anna Tenorio started her own practice so she can be more focused on primary care, geriatrics and palliative care. She is currently part of the Trumen Physicians group and is currently managing and treating patients in facilities in the post-acute care setting. Given her huge interest in continuing outpatient primary care and palliative care, Dr. Tenorio has established her own practice to do telemedicine, house calls and eventually, office visits. She has always had that fervent desire to reach out to the community and be able to help more patients in need of more focused and personal care.
