Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pretoria. During my community service year I gained experience in various areas of OT including hands, acute neuro rehabilitation, orthopaedics, psychiatry and inpatient paediatrics. I am currently working mornings at a neuro rehabilitation and step down facility, where I have worked with CVA, cardiac and dementia patients. During my time at this facility I am also required to do home visits and assess and motivate for assistive devices. I have a special intestinal in paediatrics and am working in the afternoons at a paediatric outpatient practice. The children I am treating primarily have school related difficulties.
