Having completed my MPharm degree, I have started my foundation training in a cross sector placement which was GP and community. During my time in primary care, I have been able to work within a multidisciplinary team. Team work is key when working within this profession to achieve an outcome which is best for the patient and this is a skill I have been able to apply throughout my training. I am excited to apply this and communication skills learnt in the second half of my training in community pharmacy. Pharmacy is a profession which is ever changing, with many opportunities and place for growth. I am thrilled to have started my journey and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
