I was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in 1996. My major subspecialist interest is in the management of upper gastrointestinal diseases particularly oesophago-gastric cancer. I also have a major interest in the management of gallstone disease and practice therapeutic biliary endoscopy (ERCP). My other major clinical interest is hernia surgery.
