I currently work in PACU for Summit Surgery Center in Pensacola, FL. I transitioned to Summit after my provider retired. Previous to his retirement, I was the clinic nurse and practice manager at David A. Herf, MD, I have over 27 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a dual license in nursing and radiography. I am passionate about promoting health and wellness for patients, physicians, and the community through education and outreach. One of my core competencies is implementing and optimizing the CMS Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), which has increased insurance reimbursements across our whole payer mix by over 98%.
