I am an ambitious and creative individual with a compulsive drive to enforce positive change within adversity. Having undertaken my undergraduate degree at Loughborough University, I then went on to complete a BPS accredited Psychology Conversion MSc at The University of Nottingham. Discovering a passion to holistically support individuals through occupation and meaningful activity, I completed a second MSc at The University of Derby and I am now a qualified Occupational Therapist. My experience stems primarily within children’s services and across welfare, diversity and inclusion platforms in both voluntary and paid posts. This includes a live-in Au Pair role, caring for a 3-year-old child alongside studying for my first MSc degree. *Loughborough University was voted "What Uni" University of the Year 2015 and First Place in The Student Experience Survey 2016, running parallel with my year as Mental Health Co-ordinator for Loughborough Students' Union* Additional qualifications/training: ▪ Stepping Stones: Beginning steps to the Davis Autism approach programme ▪ Disability workshop: Loughborough Students’ Union ▪ LSU Sensitivity training ▪ Sports Leadership ▪ ‘React’ first aid training ▪ Nottingham City Council: Paediatric first aid training, safeguarding training, Needs and Medication awareness training: Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Eczema and Asthma ▪ Tone of Voice course: Facilitated by ‘The Guardian’
