I also visit the Lister, Stevenage, and Addenbrookes, Cambridge. Background I have degrees in medicine & psychology from London. I was a visiting student at Harvard. I trained in internal medicine, intensive care and research. I have a research MD. My general & cardiothoracic surgery training was at Guy's, St Thomas'​, King's, Royal Brompton and London Chest Hospitals. In 2005-2007, I was at the Toronto General Hospital as senior fellow in general thoracic/lung transplant. This is one of the 'homes of thoracic surgery'. I gained a large experience of innovation and complex cases. Education & student/public engagement SCTS Education committee. I run 2 national schemes for SCTS - student engagement and CPD.
