Dr. Alyssa Gard preforms comprehensive exams with emphasis on ocular disease, contact lens fittings, Lasik pre/post op, cataract pre/post op, emergencies, and dry eye. Prior to moving to New York City, she was working at a private practice in Massachusetts. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry in 2020 and Bachelor’s of Science from James Madison University in 2016. While in optometry school, she completed rotations through Boston Children’s Hospital (Honors), Massachusetts General Hospital (Honors), and Omni Eye Services of Atlanta (Honors). During her time at Omni, she was awarded the Barrett Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Clinical Performance. Dr. Gard takes a patient first approach and focuses on each patient’s individual needs and preferences.
