I have more than 10 years experience as a consultant cardiologist, treating the full range of adult cardiological conditions including arrhythmias, valvular disease, coronary artery disease and heart failure. I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of heart artery problems by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), with excellent outcomes (available from the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society website). I am the research lead for cardiology in Norwich, participating in numerous multi-centre trials, and original research looking at the molecular mechanisms of heart attacks. I have written a text book on ultrasound examination of the heart (echocardiography) which is widely used by trainees in the UK and abroad.
