Alicia R. Carter, MD is a board-certified sports medicine, board-certified physiatrist (physical medicine), and an interventional spine & regenerative medicine specialist. She has long been a Top Doctor and a highly regarded clinical sports medicine specialist. Her main areas of interest are disorders of the spine, sports and performing arts injuries, platelet rich plasma and cell-based therapies. During her spine and sports medicine fellowship she had the privilege of working with professional basketball teams, the New York Knicks and the New York Liberty.
